Treatment Technique
A treatment plan will be created for you during your consultation at Level Up Med Spa. This plan will include the recommended number of treatment plans Dr. Millar M.D. feels are necessary to meet your goals. The procedure is safe, noninvasive, and nonsurgical, which means you can return to your daily activities as soon as you leave our facility. Emtone will be performed in one of our minor procedures rooms while you lie down comfortably and relaxed. The handheld device will be applied to the treatment area(s) using a combination of radiofrequency energy and applied pressure. During treatment, fat cells are reduced and skin is smoothed to address two of the primary causes of cellulite. Patients typically consider the treatment about as comfortable as a deep tissue massage with very few experiencing anything other than relaxation.

Dr. Millar saved my life twenty years ago when on my first visit to her she insisted I get a mammogram. Not in the upcoming future but immediately. Upon the results I was sent for a sonogram and then a biopsy. In less than 6 weeks I had had a radical mastectomy and she would be doing a total hysterectomy due to having estrogen positive breast cancer after a six week recovery from the breast surgery. For the last twenty some years she has always been up front and honest with me good, bad. I have such respect for her and her professional and always very caring medical performance, which includes emotional health as well as physical.

What to Expect
Patients are free to return to their daily activities immediately following treatment. Your skin may be red where pressure was applied, but this is normal and will fade away in the coming days. As each patient's treatment area and response to treatment is different, results could vary from patient to patient. However, most patients notice results right away. Other patients may not notice results for up to two months. Follow-up treatments are recommended in six-month intervals so that patients can maintain their smooth results. During your consultation with Dr. Millar M.D., ask how many treatment sessions are recommended, as well as how frequently follow-up sessions should be scheduled.
